Burn Depth

A 23 YO male, otherwise healthy, presents with a 5% TBSA burn caused by scalding hot water on his right forearm. The burn is erythematous, and where the blisters have been broken, the wound is moist. The burn is exquisitely painful and is sensate to pinprick. When you palpate the burn, it blanches, followed by a brisk capillary refill response. How would you classify the depth of this burn?
