A 40 YO female patient who is otherwise healthy presents with a 15% TBSA flame burn on her anterior torso. The burn appears red with areas of white as well. There are no blisters present and the burn is moist. When you check the capillary refill of the red areas, the area blanches, but the refill is sluggish. When you test pin-prick sensation over the burn, the patient reports altered sensation. Based on this history and exam, how would you classify the depth of this burn?
